A DJ, MC, officiant, storyteller, and dance instructor, Steven curates soundtracks, crafts heartfelt ceremonies, and choreographs unforgettable first dances. He graduated at the top of his pre-seminary class with a degree in religious studies and takes pride in writing personalized ceremonies.
Beyond music and vows, Steven collaborates with vendors to bring each couple’s vision to life. With a stellar industry reputation, he ensures every wedding is smooth, joyful, and unforgettable.
Steve Naumann was the first official DJ hire at Carter Events and Entertainment—and for good reason. A longtime friend of Steven Carter, he’s been curating perfect party soundtracks since high school. His background as a saxophonist gives him a natural ear for rhythm, making DJing a seamless fit.
Beyond music, Steve brings leadership and adaptability as a father, Eagle Scout, and troop leader. He reads the room effortlessly, keeps energy high, and ensures every wedding is unforgettable. From fine-tuning the atmosphere to capturing fun moments, Steve goes above and beyond to make weddings truly special.

Angie Carter is the creative force behind Carter Events and Entertainment. A Columbia College Chicago graduate in photography, she captures unforgettable wedding moments with an artist’s eye. As lead photographer, she excels at both intimate and high-energy shots while also managing photo booths for added fun.
Beyond the camera, Angie is a head planner and day-of coordinator, ensuring seamless events so couples can enjoy their day stress-free. As Steven Carter’s right hand, her creativity, precision, and multitasking make her an essential part of what makes Carter Events and Entertainment exceptional.

Adam Gerharz is a wedding industry veteran with 26 years of DJ experience, creating unforgettable celebrations. After 18 years in the business, he nearly retired—until he found Carter Events and Entertainment, where his passion was reignited.
For Adam, the best reward isn’t money—it’s a couple’s beaming smiles at the end of the night. With a deep music knowledge and a gift for reading the crowd, he keeps the dance floor packed. His interactive, high-energy approach ensures every wedding is more than just a party—it’s an incredible experience.

Getting her start with taking pictures of nature and shooting family events, Hannah always loved photography. As a result of chasing the thrill of getting that "perfect shot," her skills increased, she received a mentorship, and with encouragement from her support system, entered the world of professional photography.
When she's not behind the camera, she's gaming or hiking with her husband and dog.
